Voice training for women in business

Gain vocal confidence and clarity for presentations and public speaking

Appear firm and resolute without sounding aggressive or harsh

We know we don't have to remind anyone about the increased pressures on women of all ages, positions and roles in the workplace but we can tell you about voice. Following our success with clients from varied backgrounds and professions, who have improved their voice, presentation skills and thus performance (Voice being the most fundamental transferable skill) we are now offering specific training for the female voice.

In many ways business can still be perceived as 'a man's world' and, because most women can feel 'time-pressured', voice skills and vocal health can be neglected. We understand the voice and the demands on it and know how difficult it can be to energise and inspire at the end of a day with a flat and tired voice. We can show the female voice user how:

  • To understand the working mechanism of the voice
  • To avoid vocal misuse and conserve vocal health
  • To appear firm and resolute without sounding aggressive or harsh
  • To project and have impact avoiding shrillness or shouting
  • To convey confidence and compete with louder voices
  • Improve their overall vocal technique and have impact on listeners whatever the situation.
  • Acquire vocal techniques for effective and varied delivery
  • To understand and use body language, gesture and facial expression in an effective and confident manner

Our Training is given on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups to enable us to provide individual attention.

It can be given at the workplace or at one of our carefully chosen venues. Resource packs and support materials are provided.

" I learned so much and had no idea I could use my voice in this way and how correcting my posture had such a positive effect. I feel far more confident and will certainly put into practice what I have learnt. "
